Family:Whitney, Benjamin McNeal (1855-1935)

Benjamin Mcneal⁸ Whitney (Amos Stone⁷, Jonah⁶, Isaiah⁵, Isaiah⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), born Dixon Illinois, 24 Mar 1855; married there, 30 May 1878, Clara Sthare died 18 Apr 1886., married second 5 Sep 1888, Grerena Waldon.

He was born in Dixon, Illinois, and was engaged in the coopering business with his father till he moved to Minneapolis. He is still in the same business, but was in Duluth one year in the commission business, but left on account of the climate, and is now one of the stock owners in the Hennepin County. Barrel Works at Minneapolis; resided Minneapolis, Minnesota, care Hennepin County. Barrel Works.

i.	Emeline Grace9 Whitney, born Aug., 1879; died Sept., 1879.
ii.	Arthur C. Whitney, born 18 Mar 1882; died May 1886.
iii.	Lavina Whitney, born 29 May 1884.
iv.	Clara Whitney, born 25 Mar 1886.
