George Fred9 Whitney (George Henry8, Jesse7, Jacob6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), born Nashua, New Hampshire, 2 Nov 1846; married 15 Nov 1871, Elthea A. Davis, born 13 Sep 1848.

George Frederick Whitney was educated in the public schools in Nashua, New Hampshire, and after his graduation went into iron works of his father to learn the business or trade of a machinist; is now foreman and superintendent of his works. He has been prominent in city affairs, has served in city councils as alderman a number of times, and has held other important positions in various charitable and other institutions in that city; resided Nashua, New Hampshire.
