John⁷ Whitney (Joshua⁶, Thomas⁵, William⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), son of Joshua⁶ and Hannah (Green) Whitney, was born 31 Jun 1780 [sic], and died between 1850 and 1860.

He married, say 1804, Polly -----. She was born about 1785, NY, and died after 1860.

With his wife he joined the Cong. Church in 1813. Resided Whitney's Point, NY.
