Ebenezer Augustus7 Whitney (Silas6, Josiah5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Silas6 and Elvira J. (Lane) Whitney, was born 6 Oct 1840.
He married, 24 May 1866, Skowhegan, ME, Ellen J. Woodcock. She was born 22 Nov 1844.
He is a contractor and builder; resided Madison, ME.
Children of Ebenezer Augustus7 and Ellen J. (Woodcock) Whitney:
i. George Ansel8 Whitney, b. 21 Jun 1868 (twin), Solon, ME; gr. Orono, ME, State college. ii. Georgia Ardell Whitney, b. 21 Jun 1868 (twin), Solon, ME; m. before 1900, Josiah F.8 Whitney, her first cousin, as his third wife. iii. Clifton Whitney, b. 21 Oct 1886; resided at home.
