Samuel Whitney (1734-1808) was a member of the Committee of Correspondence, 1775, and was chosen to the Provincial Congress at Concord. He settled in Castine, Me, 1779, where he died. He was born in Marlboro, Mass.
Thomas Heston (1753-1802) was lieutenant in the 8th company, 3rd battalion, Col. Jacob Morgan's regiment, Philadelphia militia. He was born in Bucks County, Pa.; died in Glassboro, N. J.
