Pierpont Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the son of Thomas and ----- (-----) Whitney, was born 1808, CT,[1] and died after 1880.
He married, 5 Dec 1832, Cuyahoga Co. or Trumbull Co., OH, Calfronia Burdick.[2] She was born 17 Apr 1810, NY, and died 9 Jun 1883, Bridgewater, OH.

Pierpont Justis Whitney, b. 4 Jan 1879, Bridgewater, OH. - 1879 Jan. 4 - Williams Co., Bridgewater Twp. A son named Pierpont Justis Whitney was born to Asahel W. Whitney, son of Pierpont, on this date. Mother was Ellen Lovina Robbins.[3]
