i. Edwin A.9 Whitney, born 29 May 1842; married 3 May 1871, Kate R. Cummings; resided Newton, Massachusetts - Ch.: Walter C., born 10 Jun 1878. He is a wholesale jeweler.
ii. Waldo F. Whitney, born 22 Apr 1844; married Abbie Hale. iii. Albert E. Whitney, born 20 Jan 1847; married Mary E. Lowe. iv. Clara T. Whitney, born 22 Jan 1850; married 6 Jan 1886, Nathaniel Sarsfield; resided Ash. v. Wilmot A. Whitney, born 30 Jan 1852; died young.
