Jason C.⁷ Whitney (Samuel⁶, Isaac⁵, Jason⁴, Mark³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Samuel⁶ and Ann (Stroup) Whitney, was born 9 Feb 1839, Macomb, MI, and died after 1891.

He married firstly, 28 Aug 1864, Elida Berney. She was born about 1844, Canada, and died 22 Jun 1875.

He married secondly, 8 Oct 1876, Lettie E. Heyman. She was born about 1854, Canada, and died after 1891.

He is a carpenter by trade, but for many years has followed farming. Resided Port Sanilac, MI.
