Marshall⁷ Whitney (Moses⁶, Abraham⁵, John⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Moses⁶ and Jane (Polley) Whitney, was born about 16 May 1808, Watertown, MA, and died 5 Jun 1880, Hudson, MA, aged 71 years 11 months 19 days, of pneumonia.^[1]

He married firstly, 20 Jul 1834, Westbrook, ME, Harriet Edwards.

He married secondly, widow Eliza A. (-----) Cole. She was born about 1819, NS, and died after 1880.

He resided Boston, MA.
