He married 15 Aug 1859, Hudson, ME, Ann E. Miles, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (-----) Miles of Kirkland, ME. She was born Jun 1840, ME. She married secondly, 9 Apr 1882, Hudson, ME, Edwin Ewers of Brownville, ME.

Alonzo Whitney was a veteran of the Civil War, and apparently died s.p.

Children of Alonzo B. and Ann E. (Miles) Whitney, if any, unknown.
