Zabad⁷ Whitney (Jonathan⁶, Peter⁵, Josiah⁴, Josiah³, [prob.] Benjamin², John¹), son of Jonathan⁶ and Eunice (Story) Whitney, was born 10 Dec 1797, Tunbridge, VT, and died 18 Apr 1830, Tunbridge, VT.; b. East Bethel Cemetery, East Bethel, Windsor County, Vermont (Find A Grave Memorial# 9693631).

He married, 22 Dec 1820, Royalton, VT, Sophia Dewey, daughter of Ebenezer and Jerusha (Kimball) Dewey. She was born 25 Apr 1796, Royalton, VT, and died 19 Nov 1870; b. East Bethel Cemetery, East Bethel, Windsor County, Vermont (Find A Grave Memorial# 9693623).

He was a farmer; is buried at Bethel, VT. He resided Royalton and Tunbridge, VT.
