Zachariah F.⁸ Whitney (John⁷, John⁶, Zachariah⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), born in Lunenburg, 15 Apr 1816; married at Rindge, 13 May 1841, Hepsibath Smith, born 24 Feb 1821; resided W. Rindge, New Hampshire. He was selectman in 1861-62-63.

i.	Osborne A.9 Whitney, born 12 Jul 1842; married Mary J. Brown; resided Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
ii.	Thomas S. Whitney, born 21 Apr 1844; married Abbie S. Everett.
iii.	Ellen S. Whitney, born 5 Feb 1846; died unmarried in Rindge, 16 Apr 1881.
iv.	Lauretta H. Whitney, born 25 May 1848; died 2 Sep 1852.
v.	John D. Whitney, born 17 Aug 1850; married Sept 17, 1874, Alta Ashley, resided Parkville, Long Island.
vi.	George A. Whitney, born 10 Mar 1854; married Allie M. Knapp.
vii.	Susan E. Whitney, born 21 Jul 1856; died 8 Jan 1863.
