ii. James M. Whitney, b. 9 Oct 1790; m. Reliance(?) Hinckley say 1816 at prob. Phillips, Maine; First appear as a married couple with birth of child in October of 1819. This is ASSUMING that the (--?--) Hinckley is the Reliance, given with her first name only in the Phillips, Franklin, ME Vital Records. iii. Christopher Atwood Whitney, b. 3 Apr 1793; m. Adeline Howard 1 Jan 1823 at Phillips, Maine; d. 23 Aug 1869 at Tomah, WI, at age 76; bur. at Tunnell City, WI; bur. at Tunnel City, WI. - Listed as a Farmer. Name appears twice in the VR of Phillips, Franklin, ME, once as "Zepher A." and secondly as Christopher A. He was also known as Zepher A. Whitney.
iv. Patience W. Whitney, b. 26 Feb 1795. v. Joseph S. Whitney, b. 26 Jan 1797, m. Jane Goodwin circa 1821 at prob. Phillips, ME, Joseph born Phillips, children born there, probably married there. - Joseph is listed twice in the VR of Phillips, Franklin, ME -- once as Joseph S. and secondly as just Joseph. He was also known as Joseph T. Whitney. He was also known as Joseph Whitney.
vi. Samuel L. Whitney, b. 3 Aug 1799, m. Delinda S. Howard 17 Feb 1827 at Phillips, Maine vii. John B. Whitney, b. 5 Nov 1801, b. 5 Nov 1802 at Phillips, Maine viii. Josiah S. Whitney, b. 1 Aug 1807; d. after 1875 at Chippawa Falls, WI. - He lived in 1875 at Chippewa Falls, WI.
