Martha Wells, daughter of Simeon Wells and Martha Burnham, 28 May 1794 at New Gloucester, Maine; m. Martha Wells, daughter of Simeon Wells and Martha Burnham, 29 Aug 1794 at New Gloucester, Maine; by Isaac Parsons, Esq.

He Timothy's wife is shown in the Chesterfield(?) VR's as Martha; H.D. McLellan, "History of Gorham, ME", says that in Gorham he married Hannah _______. The later record may be of a second wife. Martha Wells was born on 27 Oct 1771 at New Gloucester, Maine She died on 25 Jul 1831 at Chesterville, ME, at age 59.

This Patty could easily be of the right age to be the one in this marriage.

v.	Parker Whitney, b. 14 Sep 1801 at Freeport, Maine; d. 30 Oct 1816 at Chesterville, ME, at age 15.
