Catherine Jane Randall (Thomas Whitney Randall, Olive Guthrie, Sarah7 Whitney, Joshua6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), daughter of Thomas Whitney9 and Clarinda Pleasant (Secrest) Randall, was born 15 Jul 1888, in Amboy, Blue Earth Co., Minnesota and died 14 Oct 1970, in San Diego, San Diego Co., California. Her nickname was Cassie.
She married 16 Nov 1918, Earl Leslie Cornell, son of Silas William and Mary Louisa (Wetherille) Cornell, and a salesman in her father's store. He was born 19 Oct 1889 in Mapleton, Blue Earth County, Minnesota, and died 16 Jun 1939 in San Diego, San Diego Co., California.
They lived in Amboy and San Diego, having moved there in 1923 due to the ill health of Earl Cornell. Earl Cornell was originally given six months to live, but survived an addition sixteen years in the more temperate climate of southern California.

June Lois Cornell, b. private, m. 09 Dec 1949 to Clifford Clement. iv. Carol Gene Cornell, b. private, m. 17 Aug 1947 in Yuma, Yuma Co., Arizona to Merlin Adolf Paul.
