Phineas W.8 Whitney (Phineas7, Levi6, Abel5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Phineas7 and Hannah B. (Lowell) Whitney, was born 17 May 1844, Portland, ME, and died after 1880.

He married, Maria E. Westcott. She was born about Sep 1844, Gorham, ME, and died 16 Feb 1880, Chelsea, MA, aged 36 years 5 months, of pneumonia.[1]
