Jacob Otis9 Whitney (Jacob Sargent8, Levi7, Solomon6, Solomon5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Jacob Sargent8 and Ann Maria (Cannell) Whitney, was born 14 Nov 1839, Dorchester, MA,[1] and died 17 Jun 1913, Wakefield, MA.

He married, 27 Apr 1879, Boston, MA, Jennie Melissa McIntosh.[2] She was born about 1857, MA.

Children of Jacob Otis9 and Jennie Melissa (McIntosh) Whitney:

i. Joseph F.10 Whitney, b. 1883.
ii. Charles Otis Whitney, b. 1884.
iii. Ralph Emerson Whitney, b. 1886.
iv. Elizabeth Frances Whitney, b. 1888.
