p. 317, #2367: William Wallace7 Whitney was not born in Canada. Various references put his birth in Lanesborough or Springfield, MA, and one in Vermont. Probably this birthplace belongs instead to a different William W. Whitney (c1818-b1881), of Dunham, QC.

p. 317, #2367: William Wallace7 Whitney died 10 May 1883, Springfield, MA, not Apr 1884, according to New England Historic Genealogical Society, "Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841–1910," volume 346, page 391.
The children listed for William Wallace7 Whitney actually belonged to the other William W. Whitney (c1818-b1881), of Dunham, QC.
