Sheppard; born 1820; died Sept. 1850; married 2d, 2 Nov 1853, Sarah Church; born 13 Apr 1831; resided Ogdensburg and Lawrenceville, New York, and Ottawa, Ontario.

i.	Helen9 Whitney, born May, 1844; married 1875, -----Barney. Ch.: Leon, born 1867; Helen, born 1869; resided Lawrence, New York.
ii.	Luther H. Whitney, born 23 Sep 1849; married May Gibeant.
iii.	Harvey C. Whitney, born 17 Jun 1857.
