Ephraim6 Whitney (John5, John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of John4 and Sarah (Cutting) Whitney,[1] was born 16 Apr 1740, Sudbury, MA,[2] and died 16 Sep 1775, Cambridge, MA, "accidentally shot".[3]
He married, 4 Jul 1765, Dedham, MA, Mary Reed,[4] possibly the same as the daughter Mara Reed, of Josiah and Elizabeth (Williams) Reed,[5] who was born 2 Mar 1747, Needham, MA.[6] Whoever she was, her date and place of death are unknown.
