Himan T. Connor⁸ Whitney (Abel⁷, Elijah⁶, Elijah⁵, Elijah⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Abel⁷ and Mary Lunt (Conner) Whitney, was born 30 Mar 1842, Worcester, VT,^[1] and died after 1880. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence, KS.^[2]

In various records his given name is rendered as Himan, Heman, Heiman, Herman, and even Hiram.

He married Margaret -----.
