He married firstly, 8 Oct 1867, New York, NY, Emily Johnson Tracy, of Melrose, NY, daughter of William H. and Annie Eliza (Topping) Tracy. She died before 1870.

He married secondly, about 1868, Martha A. Weed. She was born Sep 1844, NY, and died after 1900.

He married thirdly, 17 Apr 1903, Santa Cruz, CA, Alice Elizabeth Reynolds. She was born about 1860, England, and died after 1910.

He was a dealer in hardware and silver ware, and dwelt at 215 Third Avenue, New York, in Dec 1875.
