John William Whitney (John), son of John and Mary Ann (Houghton) Whitney was born 30 Apr 1850, Macomb, NY, and died 21 Jun 1908, Homer, NY.[1]

He married, 7 Sep 1887, Gilmanton, NH, Lucy A. Berry,[2] daughter of Ira Locke and Lavina (Drew) Berry. She was born 6 Feb 1860, Barnstead, NH, and died 21 Mar 1921, Union, NY.[3]

John was an M.D.
