He married firstly, 28 Apr 1907, Boston, MA, Blanche C. McSorley, daughter of Michael and Eleanor J. (McDonald) McSorley.^[1] She was born 11 Dec 1887, Dedham, MA, and died 29 Nov 1922, Washington, DC. She was buried in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Hugh and she were apparently divorced. She married secondly, Raymond F. Payne.

He married secondly, before 1920, Stella (-----) Gevan. She was born 19 Aug 1874, KY, and died 8 Sep 1960, San Bernardino, CA. She had married firstly, before 1910, ----- Gevan. Hugh and she were apparently divorced.

He married thirdly, before 1930, Cora Rebecca Garrison. She was born, 3 Sep 1883, Rockwall Co., TX, and died 23 Jul 1952, Santa Cruz, CA. She had married firstly, 3 Jun 1910, Collin Co., TX, Cyril P. Martin. They were not living together in 1940.
