John Henry10 Whitney (Henry Martin9, John Dudley8, Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Henry Martin9 and Cora (Fiske) Whitney, was born 14 Dec 1875, Watertown, MA, and died 14 Feb 1942, Boston, MA.

He married, 7 Jul 1897, Concord, MA, Bessie McLeod, daughter of Archibald and Elizabeth (Morrison) McLeod.[1] She was born about 1864, Pictou Co., NS.

i. Alberta Coral11 Whitney, b. 15 May 1899, Concord, MA;[2] d. 27 Jun 1901, Revere, MA (recorded Concord, MA), aged 2 years 1 month 12 days, of convulsions.[3]
ii. Elizabeth Hazel Whitney, b. 9 Feb 1901, Concord, MA.[4]; m. 29 Aug 1936, Epping, NH, Frank Chatfield Sheldon, d. 1983
iii. Margaret Viola Whitney, b. 15 May 1903, Concord, MA.[5]; m. Earl Lamson
ii. Mildred Jeannette Whitney, b. 16 Sep 1904, Concord, MA;[6] d. 6 Dec 1905, Concord, MA, aged 1 year 3 months, of capulary bronchitis.[7]
v. Dorothy Alice Rose Whitney, b. 24 Sep 1908, Concord, MA.[8]
