William M.¹⁰ Whitney (Russell Velasco⁹, Torrey⁸, Moses⁷, Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Russell Velasco⁹ and Melissa C. (Wheaton) Whitney, was born 21 Oct 1855, and died after 1890.

He married, 12 May 1881, Elk Lake, PA, Ida E. Hamlin. She was born 30 Jun 1857, and died after 1890.

He resided Susquehanna, PA.

i.	Ethel M.11 Whitney, b. 27 Jun 1882.
ii.	Fred H. Whitney, b. 29 Mar 1885, d. 19 Sep 1885.
