Elias James⁷ Whitney (Francis Rowland⁶, Elias⁵, Jeremiah⁴, Nathan³, John², Henry¹), son of Francis Rowland⁶ and Mary Ann (Robinson) Whitney, was born 15 Jan 1852, Mayfield, NY, and died Jul 1901. He was buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.^[1]

He married, 17 May 1876, Manhattan, NY, Martha Noble.

He lived at 411 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY, in 1874.
