Joseph D.8 Whitney (James D.7, Daniel Hobbs6, Joshua5, Joshua4, Joshua3, Benjamin2, John1), son of James D.7 and Submit (Cutting) Whitney, was born about 1838, Boylston, MA, and died after 1880.
He married firstly, 17 Nov 1855, Sterling, MA, Laura A. Heywood, both of West Boylston.[1]
He married secondly, 19 Apr 1864, Pelham, MA, Clara/Clarissa L. Cutting, dau. of ----- and Prudence (-----) Cutting.[2] She was born 30 Oct 1844, Ware, MA, d. and died Dec 1910, Amherst, MA, aged 66 years 1 month 16 days, of organic heart disease.[3]
