Stowell Barnard⁹ Whitney (George Sanders⁸, Zimri⁷, John⁶, Zachariah⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of George Sanders⁸ and Mary Eveline (Barnard) Whitney, was born 26 Jun 1848, Troy, NY, and died 11 Apr 1907, Glens Falls, NY.

He married, 27 Jan 1881, Glens Falls, NY, Helena E. Norris. She was born 9 Jan 1858.

He resided Glens Falls. He was born in Troy and when nine years of age moved to Glens Falls with his parents. He has resided there continuously ever since. Has been in the retail shoe business since 1871.

Stowell Barnard⁹ and Helena E. (Norris) Whitney had no children.
