John Whitney (John), son of John and Rebecca (Blodgett) Whitney, was born 9 Jul 1814, Genesee Co., NY, and died 20 Jul 1861, Tuscola Co., MI. He was buried in Fremont Township Cemetery, Mayville, MI.[1]
He married Lydia Lavinia (Jones) Lewis. She was born 1818, NY, and died 27 Mar 1888, Lapeer Co., MI. She was buried in Fremont Township Cemetery, Mayville, MI.[2] She had married firstly John Lewis
