He married, 11 Jun 1858, Dubuque, IA, Lovisa Rebecca Blakeslee.[2] She was born 18 May 1840, NY (or Erie Co., PA), and died 19 Jan 1917, Fonda, IA. She was buried in Cedar Township Cemetery, Fonda, IA.[3]
