Daniel Whitney (Daniel), son of Daniel and Jane (-----) Whitney, was born Jun 1840, Montpelier, VT, and died after 1875.
He married, 1 Aug 1871, South Hadley, MA, Lucy Ann Mitchell, daughter of Reuben Oliver and Margaret Roberts (-----) Mitchell.[1] Both were living in Holyoke, MA. She was born 14 May 1852, Burke, NY, and died 26 Apr 1941, Pittsford, MI. They were divorced about 1875, Holyoke, MA. She married secondly, about 1876, Robert D. Sargent, born Jun 1846, NY, and died about 1905, Holyoke, MA. She was buried in Leonardson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsford, MI.[2]
Daniel and Lucy Ann (Mitchell) Whitney had no children.
Robert and Lucy Ann (Mitchell) Sargent had three children.
