Family:Whitney, Lyman Hubbard (1814-1883)
Lyman Hubbard8 Whitney (Solomon7, Nathaniel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Solomon7 and Lucy (Lyman) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1814, Marlboro, VT,[1] and died 2 Feb 1883, Sunderland, MA, aged 68 years 6 months, of chronic diarrhea.[2]
He married firstly, 13 Jun 1839, Wilmington, VT, Emeline Lucinda Goodnow,[3] daughter of Major William and Sybil (Arms) Goodnow. She was born 17 Jan 1815, Whitingham, VT, and died 2 Feb 1866, Whitingham, VT, aged 50 years, of consumption.[4]
He married secondly, between 1866 and 1869, ----- -----, deduced from his third marriage record. She died before 1869.
He "of Sunderland" married thirdly, 16 Aug 1869, Sunderland, MA, or Northampton, MA, Delcena M. (Sanders) Sheldon "of Southampton", daughter of Lemuel and Sylvia or Liddy (Woodis) Sanders. She was born about 1822, Rutland, MA,[5] and died 18 Dec 1909, Southampton, MA, aged 88 years, of senile pneumonia.[6] She had married firstly, about 1847, Joseph Ebenezer Sheldon (1825-1857).
He resided Whitingham, VT.
