Harrington Phinehas⁹ Whitney (Cole Mattison⁸, Phinehas⁷, Phinehas⁶, Joshua⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Cole Mattison⁸ and Catherine (Getman) Whitney, was born Aug 1833 or 1834, NY, and died 1915. He was buried in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, NY.^[1]

He married, about 1860, Ophelia "Phila"/"Phela" C. (Hardendorf) Rabiner, daughter of Abraham and Lucinda Elizabeth (Arnold) Hardendorf. She was born 1838, NY, and died 1897, Ilion, NY. She was buried in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, NY.^[2] She had married firstly 4 Oct 1859, Minden, NY, Anson Rabiner.

He resided Ilion, NY.
