He married firstly, 15 Apr 1879, St. Johns, MI, Emma J. Owen,[3] daughter of Joseph F. and Sally A. (Jaqiush) Owen. She was born 2 Pct 1855, Lebanon, MI, and died 15 Apr 1894, St. Johns, MI. She was buried in Sowle Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.[4] Apparently they were divorced, since she married secondly, 11 Dec 1890, Maple Rapids, MI, George E. Bliss.[5]
He married secondly, 24 Oct 1893, Ionia, MI, Cora A. Trail,[6] daughter of David and Mary Jane (Mulford) Trail. She was born May 1872, Portland, MI, and died 7 Jan 1944, St. John's MI.[7] She was buried in Mount Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.[8] She married secondly, 30 Oct 1915, Lansing, MI, Stephen J. Dunstall.[9]
His occupation was house painter.
