Family:Whitney, Benjamin (1766-1852)

Benjamin Whitney (Nicholas^A, Benjamin^B, Thomas^C) son of Nicholas^A and Catherine (Gore) Whitney, was born 1766, and died 24 Apr 1852.

He married, 29 Apr 1801, Alicia Kough, daughter of Thomas Kough, of New Ross. She was born about 1780. and died 5 Dec 1825, aged 45.

He was "of Castleview, Old Ross".

Children of Benjamin and Alicia (Kough) Whitney:

i.	Nicholas Whitney, bapt. 13 Mar 1805; d. 1834, Old Ross; bur. 8 Mar 1834, Old Ross; m. 21 Mar 1833, Mary Gese, dau. of Thomas Jones, b. ca. 1810, d. 20 Mar 1895, aged 85. He d.v.p. leaving an only child: a. Benjamin Whitney (Sir), living 1863.
ii-viii.	Two more sons and five daughters.
