Louis Campbell8 Whitney (William Mayberry7, Stephen6, Stephen5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of William Mayberry7 and Charlotte P. (York) Whitney, was born (poss. Sep) 1853, CT, and died 3 Apr 1915. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain, CT.[1]

He married, about 1875, Ellen Viola Goodwin, daughter of Charles Francis and Julia (Hitchcock) Goodwin. She was born 5 Mar 1852, Millbury, MA, and died 9 Feb 1916, Worcester, MA. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain, CT.[2]

In 1915, Ellen V. Whitney was living with William Whitney at 7 Norton St., New Haven, CT.[3]
