'Stephen5 Whitney'Phineas5 Whitney (Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Isaac4 and Sarah (Crosby) Whitney, was born 19 Mar 1755, Saco, ME,[1] and died 1 Feb 1848, probably Gorham, ME.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 28 Oct 1780, Gorham, ME, for him and Martha Irish. He married, 28 Oct 1780, Martha Irish. She was born circa 1760, probably Gorham, ME, and died 10 Nov 1836, probably Gorham, ME. She was also known as Patty Irish.

iv. Patty Whitney, b. circa 1786 at Standish, Maine; Marriage banns for she and John Wescott were published 28 Oct 1809 at Standish, Maine; husband "of Standish", wife "of Gorham;" m. John Wescott 29 Nov 1809 at Standish, Maine; d. 16 Dec 1885.
She A Patty Whitney married a Warren Heald of Winslow [in the Grafton VR's the word Winston? is put after Winslow in parentheses] district of Maine, Oct. 25 1818. - A Church Record in the Grafton, Worcester, MA Vital Records. This Patty could easily be of the right age to be the one in this marriage. She was also known as Martha A. Whitney.
