She married 11 25 1875, Lakeville, ME, Charles Hale, son of Alpheus and Mary (Arnold) Hale. He was born 01 1838, and died 10 17 1896, Lakeville, ME.
Charles Hale married firstly, Mary M. Weymouth, 1 Nov 1861. She died 1 Jan 1864, Lakeville, ME, where she is buried.

Lydia M. Hale, b. abt 1863, Lee, ME; d. 1932; m. Frederick Howard Gibbs, 4 Jul 1883, Fairfield, ME.
Charles Hale was a farmer and soldier. He was a Private in Co. E., 16th Maine Infantry. Both he and Mary received a pension for his Civil War service.
Charles and Mary Elizabeth (Whitney) Hale are buried in the South Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, ME.
The are no known children of Charles and Mary Elizabeth Hale.
