The Evening News, Lincoln, Nebraska, Friday, June 22, 1900

WAHOO, Neb, June 21 - J. B. Whitney and Miss Elsie Thorp were married at 8 o'clock last evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Thorp, in this city Rev. Coburn of the Baptist church officiating. The wedding was a quiet one, there being no one present excpt the near relatives of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs. Whitney are among the best young people in town.
