Samuel6 Whitney (Benjamin5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Benjamin5 and Rebecca (-----) Whitney,[1] was born 17 Apr 1742, Watertown, MA,[2] and died 29 Jun 1832, Westminster, MA.

He married firstly, 24 Nov 1762, Worcester, MA, Mary White, of Newton, MA. She died prob in Templeton, MA.

He married secondly, 11 Oct 1812, Westminster, MA, Hannah (Woodward) Wetherbee, widow of Ephraim Wetherbee. She was born 1749, and died Dec 1832.

According to the History of Westminster Samuel went from Worcester. He made his will and it was probated 9 Dec 1834, and allowed 17 Nov 1835. In it he mentions his wife Hannah, her daughter Hannah Wetherbee, son Moses, daughter Patty Bowker and daughter Molly West. Mr. Spaulding was executor. He resided Worcester, Templeton, and Westminster, Massachusetts.

ii. Patty Whitney, b. -----; m. 17 Aug 1791, Jonathan Bowker, both of Petersham, MA.
iii. Molly Whitney, b. -----; m. ----- West.
iv. Abijah Whitney, b. -----; d. 1796, Templeton, MA, unmarried; his will is dated 2 Apr 1796.

Samuel6 and Hannah (Woodward)(Wetherbee) Whitney had no children.
