Henry⁶ Whitney (Benjamin⁵, Daniel⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Benjamin⁵ and Deliverance (-----) Whitney, was born 8 Jan 1745/6, Watertown, MA, baptized 12 Jan 1745/6, Watertown, MA, and died before 2 Oct 1788.

He "of Watertown" married 5 Jan 1769, Newton, MA, Hannah Tombs.

Pierce says the following:^[1]

He was in one of the Watertown companies in the Revolutionary war.

iv.	Elizabeth Whitney, b. aft. 8 Sep 1769; m. Seth Knight.
v.	Henry Whitney, b. 18 Jan 1779, Watertown, MA; m. Fanny Miller.
