Joshua⁶ Whitney (David⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of [[David⁵|David⁵ and Abigail (Knight) Whitney]], was born 17 Aug 1761, Gorham, ME.

He married, 17 Nov 1786, Falmouth, ME, Molly More, by Rev. Ebenezer Williams. She died 30 Sep 1818, Buxton, ME.

i.	Samuel7 Whitney, b. unknown; d. 26 May 1821, Buxton, ME.
