Add a New Family Group Record

Would you like to add a family group record to this website? It's easy, but you have two choices. Use the Simple Version below if you're new or intimidated by complex formatting commands. Someone else will come along later and add that for you when you're done. If you're adept at the formatting commands, try the Complete Version below.

In either case, simply type in the name, birth year, and death year for the head of the family you want to enter in the format "Whitney, John Melvin (1842-1886)" after the 'Family:' prefix. Be sure to put it in just this format - last name first, first and any middle names, then years. Refrain from using ALL CAPS. If you don't know the exact year of birth and death, use 'a1902' for after, 'b1766' for before, 'c1827' for circa (about), or "?" if you have no idea. Here are a few examples: '(1807-a1902)', '(b1766-c1827)', '(1802-?).
