Ebenezer Gould⁷ Whitney (Cornelius⁶, Cornelius⁵, Matthias⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Cornelius⁶ and Rhoda (Gould) Whitney; born Mexico, New York, 27 Feb 1808; married 16 Feb 1848, Maria Wickware; born 16 Jan 1824; died 29 Nov 1886. He was a farmer. He died 9 Dec 1881; resided Mexico, New York.

Children of Ebenezer Gould⁷ and Maria (Wickware) Whitney:

i.	Charles G.8 Whitney, born 27 Jul 1856; unmarried; resided Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin.
ii.	Julia E. Whitney, born 24 Sep 1861; unmarried; resided Mexico.
iii.	Martha Alice Whitney, born 14 Apr 1852 married 20 Sep 1876, Wilfred A. Robbins, born 24 Jan 1853. He is postmaster; resided Mexico, New York; s. p.
iv.	Etta Whitney, born ----- (adopted).
