He married, 27 Apr 1811, Andover, VT, Abigail Townes, daughter of Aaron and Abigail (Johnson) Towne [sic]. She was born 22 Jan 1791, Andover, VT, and died 2 Apr 1872, Pittsfield, OH.

1.^ According to the Westminster Vital Records, he was born in 1784, which is too close to an older sibling, but Heywood's History of Westminster puts it in 1785, which seems more reasonable. The 1860 and 1870 censuses give an age consistent with a birth in early 1785.
