Levi Whitney (Lemuel), son of Lemuel and Mary (-----) Whitney, was born 5 Feb 1792, Orange, MA,^[1] and died 23 May 1852, Adams, MA, aged 60 years 3 months 18 days, of consumption, laborer, son of Lemuel and ----- Whitney.^[2]

He married, 30 Oct 1816, Royalston, MA, Sally Metcalf,^[3] daughter of Michael and Mary (Whittemore) Metcalf.^[4] She was born 22 Mar 1791, Royalston, MA,^[5] and died after 1850.

They resided 1850 Adams, Berkshire Co., MA.

Children of Levi and Sally (Metcalf) Whitney:

i.	Armena Whitney, b. Apr 1816; d. 13 Nov 1863, Salisbury, VT; m. 1 Apr 1840, Leicester, VT, Henry C. Carr.
ii.	Lucretia Whitney, b. 19 Oct 1817, Royalston, MA.[6]
iii.	Louisa Whitney.
iv.	Erastus Whitney.
