Family:Whitney, Abner (1748-1811)

Abner⁶ Whitney (Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Samuel⁵ and Abigail (Fletcher)Whitney, was born 18 May 1748, Westminster, MA, and died Sep 1811, Westminster.

He married firstly, 14 May 1770, Elizabeth Glazier, of Shrewsbury, MA. She died 3 Apr 1778.

He married secondly, 22 Apr 1779, Lavina (Glazier) Ward. She was born 9 May 1752, and died 23 Jul 1838. He resided Westminster and Ashburnham, Massachusetts.

i.	Oliver7 Whitney, b. 8 Dec 1770, d. 24 Jun 1794.
ii.	John Whitney, b. 28 Jul 1772; m. Susanna Smith.
