They had one son, Robert, Knt. He married (2nd) JANE CLIFFORD, daughter of Robert Clifford. EUSTACE WHITNEY, Esq., died 1480/1.

12. ROBERT WHITNEY, Knt. of Whitney, Herefordshire, Sheriff of Herefordshire, son and heir. He married (1st) CONSTANCE AUDLEY (or TUCHET), daughter of James Tuchet (or Audley), Knt., 5th lord Audley (descendant of King John), by his 3nd wife, Eleanor, daughter of Edmund Holand, Earl of Kent [see TUCHET 12 for her ancestry]. They had one daughter, Johan. He married (2nd) Elsbeth Vaughan, daughter of Thomas Vaughan, of Hergest. They had two sons, James and Hugh, and three daughters, Eleanor (wife of Thomas Vaughan). Ellen (wife of John ap John), and Sibyl (wife of Roger ap Richard). He also had a daughter, Elsbeth (wife of John Pye), whose maternity is uncertain.

13. JOAN WHITNEY, married (as his 2nd wife) ROGER VAUGHAN, Knt., of Porthaml (in Talgarth), co. Brecon, Wales, Knight of the Shire for Breconshire, 2nd son of Roger Vaughan, Knt., of Tretower, co. Brecon, by Denise, daughter of Thomas ap Philip Vaughan of Tyle-Glas. He married (1st) Eleanor Somerset, eldest daughter of Henry Somerset, Earl of Worcester. SIR ROGER VAUGHAN died before 25 Sept. 1514.
