He married, 26 Apr 1838, Caroline Geyer. She was born 26 Dec 1811, and died 8 Jul 1889.
He was a soap maker. He resided Boston and Cambridge, MA.

Cambridge, MA. - Ch.: Carrie May, b. 24 Oct 1866; d. 29 Aug 1873; Lizzie Searles, b. 5 Sep 1871; m. 15 Jun 1892, Walter Eugene Bowen; lives at 3 Creighton St., No. Cambridge, MA; Isabel Calef, b. 28 Mar 1877; unmarried and resided 3 Creighton St., No. Cambridge, MA.
